That's right brada! Apache here WW2 Korea and Nam
These are not natives these are white people.
What a heart-rending and ultimately really inspiring story. Thank you President Sharp for sharing it. When we meet, I might tell you of my childhood friend who becane a transracial adoption counselor in Indian Country - from his own experience - advising on such cases. You have undergone such a lot. What an outstanding leader you really are.
This recording of the "Strengthening Our Shared Legacy" webinar was truly enlightening! The insights provided by NCAI President Mark Macarro, NCAI Executive Director Larry Wright Jr., and NCAI Foundation President Greg Masten highlighted the transformative potential of the newly launched philanthropic arm. It’s inspiring to see the focus on upholding tribal sovereignty, empowering leadership, and fortifying Tribal Nations. Kudos to Vice President Dawn Knickerbocker for moderating such an engaging panel. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on expanding partnerships with Native-led groups and centering equity and sovereignty. It's clear that supporting the NCAI Foundation’s mission is crucial for the future of tribal communities. More funds should indeed be directed towards helping indigenous people. Thank you for sharing this important discussion! 🌟 #SupportTribalNations #NCAIFoundation #IndigenousEmpowerment

My daughter has been doing an amazing job for her people in that she uses her ASL skills to bring the deaf into the conversations!
Please post these proceedings every year. 🙏
Wonderful Lance and Giovanna to see you participating in such an event! Ma'heonenahkohe, unlike that ASL interp there, I would have been able to interpret when you spoke Tsisinstsistots thanks to Wayne and Conrad! But not the song. LOL!
Thank you , for pointing out a serious issues that our community faces, in addition to family connections that govern over the domestic issues, chemical dependency as well property. I want this action now. I’m a strong about my feelings of my people that have always been at risk of Poverty and severe damage to our community members that have a voice that they don’t always feel confident enough to speak out and advocate for themselves. I want change. 🙌🏽HUMANS🙌🏽

I’m a new Native American owned business.
Hello - from one native-owned business to another! 👋🏽
who directed this masterpiece?
Always be proud of who you are and where you came from as long as it's not directed at the expense of someone else. THAT'S where division comes from.
I'd like to hear an updated talk.
Humans….all of us! Proud to be human!
Crazy that now there's a push to change the name BACK, from the Washington Commanders
But now they want the name changed back lol
Elizabeth Warren you came to the rosebud reservation did you not see how bad the homeless and housing was did you not see the poverty if you did how I wish you would help the situation I have lived that poverty and homelessness for many years I'm alot older now and don't feel like i have the strength to carry on much longer but if you could help the youth not to have to live like we did growing up i would thank you now please make America honor the 1868 fort Laramie treaty and return the black hills then my people will live good lives instead of suffering day after day because they did not receive what was rightfully there's to begin with.
We should have mental health facilities on all reservations across America it costs more to transport natives off the reservations and I don't think they take the time to really help natives off the reservations so reservations should have the facilities on the reservations.
We truly need housing but it should be tribal housing not under hud.
6uild 6ack 6etter...haha ..s oros... money really ...?...f a k e people ...go give up some more
Sad part about this is that this organization is run by white people
It's not, it's ran by Natives. Check out the committee yourself. Second time I've seen you commenting on native mascots, the first you're claiming your native grandmother was pro redskins lmao.
@@SovereignSeminole she was

And that's a lie. What do the Navajos of Red Mesa High School on an Indian reservation in AZ and the Natives at Wellpinit on an Indian Reservation in Washington state use as mascot names?
There is nothing to laugh.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS! CLEVELAND INDIANS!
My auntie showed me this some years back.
Gotta love how this video is probably narrated by a white man pushing this eradiction of Native American team names agenda. This hijacked term movement needs to go. This team was named and celebrated by Native Americans. Let them have there team. I have asked real Native Americans if they were offended by the team name and most of them said no.
This group has been around since 1944 they check out and represent millions of Native American and Alaskan Native people as well as 100s of tribes. Looking at the other Native American Guardian group which started right around the time of the name change in 2020. That is saying they are boycotting for the name to be changed back looks a lot less legit than this one. I don't think we gonna get our names back and I feel bad now.
While leftists check off boxes like simps, the majority of Indians and Latinos want Redskins. It isnt racist. Anymore than Yankees and NWA. And youve missed the racial irony of replacing an Indian caricature with yet another white caricature- Commanders and Guardians. All we need is more white soldiers, right? What's next? Warmongers and Massas? Thanks for making the NFL a whiter league under the guise of 'combatting racism'. The Honorable El Hajj Malik el Shabazz spoke of you when he said white liberals are the greatest deceiver of blk people and use them in a white power end game. You libs are always fall on the side of the white liberal gain on this everytime. And another brown icon is erased. Look in the mirror and youll see a klansman! Cause they didnt want beown faces on a helmet either.
Six years later I watched this and this is inspiring! WTG!
This is a great case because corrupt tribes are hiding behind sovereign immunity. When tribal employees act outside their scope of authority and in their official capacity they are responsible.
